::Meet the Lovely Ladies of the Save Our Strays Senior & Special Needs Shelter (SSNS)!::

Crissy & Bessie are the "stars" of SOS's latest project because they and other cats like them are the focus behind this mission. One of our volunteers has turned the upstairs of her home into a cage-free shelter for these 2 senior citizen cats and one special needs cat named French Fry who is not up for adoption due to numerous health and behavior problems.

The modifications include "cat-friendly" vinyl flooring, built-in perches and walkways and ramps and stairs to allow access to furniture and windows etc. for cats who can no longer jump or climb. We would also like to add "items of interest" such as cat trees/condos and toys (because even special kitties still like to play!) 

All these modifications will be expensive, so we're asking for donations to help us make this shelter a truly wonderful place for these cats - as for many of them, this may be the only home they ever know.
