Rambo & Sambo will be a year old soon - not sure of the exact date as a stray cat had them in the crawlspace of our basement. I wasn't aware they were there until they were big enough to go up and down the steps.
They stayed in the basement and outside last summer. They didn't let me
pet them very much at all, only occasionally.
I took their Mom and had her spayed when they were approximately 6-8 weeks
old. One of the kids in the neighborhood took her in, she was the most
gentle cat. I was sad to see her go.
The kittens were neutered in October of last year. They had all of their
shots and Leukemia vaccine at that time as well.
They are both solid black with gold eyes and have medium length fur. They
had to be given a name when they were taken to the vet. They don't really
know their names, I call them Kitty Wits or other pet names. Rambo is a
little bit bigger than Sambo.
Rambo wants all of the loving, Sambo is more shy but he loves 'loving' as
well. Sambo's motor runs constantly when he is being petted.
After they were neutered, the vet said I should keep them inside until
their incisions healed. It's the end of April and they are still in the
hallway at our home. I couldn't bring myself to put them outside in
November.
They were not declawed because I knew at some point they would be living
outdoors again.
We have two other indoor cats and are not able to keep four in the house.
